My spiritual background

It’s time for me to write something about my spiritual background! In the last few years I have learnt a lot and I have come to feel more secure about talking and writing about the theme of spirituality or consciousness. Also, recently I promoted my blog a little more and a friend even interviewed me about consciousness and meditation for his website. So now seems a good time to unfold a little, for who is interested. Some of you may recognize yourself in my story. At least now you’ll know better where me and my writings are coming from. I will attempt to keep it short. Questions can always be asked, and they may be answered. I did not write about ‘my spiritual background’ before, mostly because I deemed it not so important. I figured readers would get the vibe of my writing and that would be enough. The right stuff would come up in my posts anyways. But now I’ll give you a better picture of my path so far! Must-see documentary: The Goddess Project

I urge you to go see The Goddess Project, if you haven’t seen it yet. I am tremendously positive and enthusiastic about it and I know why. The movie is a compilation of the most powerful pieces of conversation the film makers had with over 100 women in the US. I am so happy this documentary is made. The things that are said are SO enormously important for everyone to hear, to know. The themes that are addressed in the documentary are SO real and important. The movie is very moving. I cried at least three times while watching it. I cried from grief, from sadness and anger, from understanding, from inspiration and from celebration. I cried from love. I will definitely watch The Goddess Project again. I wish for everyone to see it. I wish for everyone to find their way in this life and in this world, and for everyone to find support and be supported. This movie absolutely contributes to the sense of support. We are in this together, peepz. ❤   …

To have a life purpose

Whoosh, autumn is totally rocking this week! Although I’m not thrilled about it, I can find peace in the idea that this means that we get to create and enjoy the indoor cosiness that usually comes with gloomy weather. I really feel like cosying up together with others. As if aligned with the weather, this week my body actually forced me to stop doing anything besides taking rest. This was hard to accept at first, but now I am happy I got to spend some time with myself. I’ve been wanting to share with you something: I have found my life purpose! I will not specify it here yet, but I am positive that knowing it will help me a lot. I cannot know if it will last for my whole life, but I think that it will last for a long time and that it will help me in my life and that it will guide me to where I need to go. I do regard it as my life purpose, it feels completely …

Returning home

Hello all, I just crawled out of bed in the night with hunger and some nice clear thoughts. 🙂 Recent times have been so interesting. I have been stuck in some senses, while at the same time I have experienced a lot. My life has been simple in ways, which allowed me to clear my vision. I am in a place where it is easy to tell what is what, what is whose, where does it come from. Certain streams of events are challenging me in new ways. Or I am seeing the challenges differently now. Concerning challenges, I believe that they will come to you in the right way or moment. Some events can be wholly overwhelming and you may feel not ready to face it all, but that is okay. The lessons can and will come later, when you have more space to process them. After all, we cannot do all at once. Life comes to us in little steps. We cannot foresee the whole process or the course of our lives from …

Excitement

In this moment I am excited! I am grateful for and thrilled about the opportunities in life. We are lucky to experience as we do. We get to go out in the world, to explore. Let’s make the most of it and do it together!

Self care, you, me and beauty

Recently I played a game in which so-called ‘revealing cards’ asked my boyfriend and me wicked personal questions and we had to answer in complete honesty. Some where not so difficult, but others made me think. These questions and answers are so interesting – such good food for thought! – that I’ll drop them here. So, what would you say when a silly card asks you the seemingly simple yet existential question: Question: “When do you choose for yourself?” Do you have an answer? I think a lot about ‘these kind of things’, but this question is difficult! I hadn’t thought about it this way. Maybe you’d want to think about your answer before reading on. When do you choose for yourself? … Is it when you leave everything be and be with your own needs and feelings? This can be choosing for yourself, choosing to take care of yourself. But then, if you choose for yourself, are you not just being selfish? I find this distinction difficult sometimes. I think that in our culture …
